INPEX CORPORATION (INPEX) was listed in the Environmentally Sustainable Companies category at the 6th ESG Finance Awards Japan presented by the Ministry of the Environment of Japan.

The ESG Finance Awards Japan recognize leading initiatives by institutional investors, financial institutions, intermediaries, enterprises and other organizations that are proactively involved in and have made an impact on environmental and social businesses. The ESG Finance Awards Japan also broadly share these leading initiatives with society to further promote and expand ESG finance.

The ESG Finance Awards Japan's Environmentally Sustainable Companies category presents case studies of environmentally sustainable businesses to investors and enterprises. A total of 45 companies were selected as environmentally sustainable companies that meet a certain standard of disclosure level.

INPEX will continue to promote and strengthen sustainable management and the suitable disclosure of relevant information as part of its mission of contributing to the creation of a brighter future for society. To fulfill its two key social responsibilities of providing a stable energy supply and responding to climate change, INPEX will enhance its resilience and promote cleaner business operations. The company will also strive to create value over the medium- to long-term by continuing to strengthen the integration of ESG into its business activities.
