Since 1973, INPEX has been involved in the development and production of oil fields offshore Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. Currently, we are participating in the development and production of four offshore oil fields including the Upper Zakum Oil Field which is one of the largest in the world, as well as the Lower Zakum, Satah and Umm Al-Dalkh oil fields. We have been appointed asset leader for the Lower Zakum Oil Field concession by ADNOC and are taking a leading role in advancing development work in close cooperation with ADNOC and other partners to increase the oil field's production capacity to 450,000 barrels per day.
